Lovely people
I have been buying our regular Chinese takeaway from Yung Kee for over 20 years and in all that time it has always been excellent. We usually have special Yung Kee fried rice, No.38 and every time . at home, we say "that was really good" or something similar. Like it was a surprise, but it always is surprisingly good. Sometimes of course, we ring the changes, the other chinese meals on the list are always fine but we keep returning to the Special One No 38.
Their large chips, or fish or the sausages are also to be reccomended. Some other suppliers provide chips that you can tell have been warmed up or something, but Yung Kee chips are better than anyone else and preferable to making our own.
I am also impressed by how they know their regular customers, I thought it was only me but most of the customers are local regulars which says a lot. The delivery service is also first class if you can't be bothered to go out yourself, or too tired. ThanksBy John Hudson The Photographer at 19:06 on 28/04/11
