A well known Bristol Swing Band have organised a charity concert, in aid of St Peter's Hospice, to take place on Sunday 14 October.
Savages Swing Band and their star vocalist Hannah Wedlock will be performing all the hits from the swing era at the Hanham Community Centre, while raising money for the local hospice.
The event will feature a cabaret interval as well as a raffle and guests will have a chance to get up and boogie on the dancefloor.
Louisa James, St Peter's Hospice events fundraiser, said: "It's great that the Savages are holding a charity concert in aid of St Peter's Hospice. We rely on the generosity of the public to continue our work in the city, so please go along and support them."
St. Peter's Hospice is Bristol's only adult hospice caring for local people with incurable diseases and giving them a better quality of life. All care is provided free of charge but with the NHS contributing just 23 per cent of the £6.5 million needed to run the hospice yearly, support from the public is essential.
Last year the hospice cared for 2,675 patients in the region and supported over 6,000 family members, including children.
Tickets are £10.00 each and can be purchased from Tim Stevenson on 01275 332 774.
