NORTH Somerset officials are raising funds for the resurrection of Farmborough cricket ground, near Keynsham, by walking the best part of 30 miles to visit eight clubs on Sunday.
Secretary Malcolm Buck, chairman Dave Millard and finance director Peter Haigh will meet at Whitchurch at 8.30am, visiting Stanton Drew, Chew Magna, Chew Stoke, Winford, Blagdon and Harptree and, finally, getting to Farmborough by 7.45pm.
