More snow forecast for Keynsham next week but for now ice is the problem

The forecast is for freezing temperatures in Keynsham this weekend and ice is already probing a problem with a report of an ice-related accident at the junction of St Ladoc Road and Bristol Road last night. And there is more snow on the way.

Temperatures are unlikely to get above freezing in Keynsham this weekend - and there is more snow on its way next week
The current forecast for Keynsham is for light snow on Monday, heavy snow on Tuesday morning and then sleet on Wednesday.
Bath & North East Somerset Council says its highways team were out again salting roads last night and it has arrangements in place to deal with any problems across the whole weekend.
Meanwhile staff at the Royal United Hospital in Bath are urging people to take care when venturing outside on to icy roads and pavements, with the high possibility of slips and falls which puts pressure on an already busy emergency department.
