Bath and North East Somerset Council has put up boards on the hoardings surrounding the regeneration site, showing impressions of how it will look once the £34m scheme is completed in autumn 2014.
One board near Keynsham Fire Station urges people to "Support Keynsham town centre while the work is underway", saying Temple Street businesses are open as usual and that the temporary library is at the rear of Riverside.
The board also has a diagram of where the town's car parks are and an arrow directing people to "more shops this way".
The old shops at The Centre have been demolished along with the old library and town hall, paving the way for new shops, low carbon office space for the council to replace the accommodation at Riverside, a new library and a 'One Stop Shop', as well as public open space.
The Civic Centre Car Park was closed last month as part of the scheme and is due to reopen in September following a refurbishment and extension.
Work is due to begin next month on laying the foundations for the new development.
