Why I like Keynsham

I grew up in Willsbridge and spent a lot of time in Keynsham during the 60´s & 70´s. I went to the ¨Charlton¨ (flea-pit) picture house every week with my Mother to see a film. I attended ¨The Key¨ youth club in Keynsham and was a regular at the sports centre. Keynsham park used to be a wonderful place to hang out with friends. I married a Canadian and we married at Bitton chirch in 1981. I emmigrated to Calgary Canada in 1983. We left Canada and moved to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in 1998. We still live here in Paradise. I´m not often in the Keynsham area anymore but I have a Brother and his family still living in Keynsham. My Brother´s name is Pete Groves. My parents, Ted and Blanche Groves are buried in Keynsham cemetary. I´m on Facebook if anyone wants to contact me. Judith Groves De Sautels.

Why I don't like Keynsham

Since the 1980´s it has grown into a city-like atmosphere. Too big, too many cars. Too many estates and too much crime. Keynsham has lost its small town ambience that I grew up with unfortunately.
