Tributes paid to Chief Superintendent Sandy Padgett

Chief Superintendent Sandy Padgett, district commander for West Somerset, died suddenly on Saturday, October 3, at the age of 41.
Tributes are already coming in for the Bristol-born police chief at her Lasting Tribute page.
Chief Constable Colin Port said: “This tragic loss has come as a great shock to everybody and our deepest sympathies go to her husband and children.
“Sandy will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and worked with her. She was an exceptional police officer who was extremely well respected by all those fortunate enough to work with her.”
Sally Woodbury, Chair of the Romany Gypsy Advisory Group, said: "Sandy was very fair, she knew there is good and bad in all walks of life.
"She helped me see also that there were also good police that wanted to help the Gypsy communities.
"I talked to Sandy about her family and kids, we had many a giggle she was just a young women like me.
"You will be a Guardian Angel in heaven as you were on Earth, God bless you.xxxx"
