Recycle That Toaster!
By millie33 | Monday, June 29, 2009, 12:06
When it comes to recycling, something that often gets overlooked is smaller electrical items like toasters, kettles and irons.
Deciding that I really needed to de-clutter the house a bit, I called the council to find out about recycling an old TV and was told that basically anything with a plug can be recycled. So, out has gone a horrible old phone, two old kettles (don't ask!) and the iron.
You can take them to the Pixash Lane recycling centre. Pass it on!

Don't know what happened with my last reply????! Anyway, what I was trying to say was that I think the company you buy your new fridge from is supposed to dispose of the old one for you. Hope that helps.

Reportironing the cord of the iron was silly; now there's no way of repairing it.
