Organist returns for Keynsham concert

Organist David Whitehead is returning to Keynsham to give a recital in the parish church on Saturday, March 27 at 3pm.

David is the son of Margaret and the late Trevor Whitehead who lives in Keynsham and studied the organ while a pupil at Kingswood School, Bath.

Tickets for the fundraising recital including refreshments cost £6/5 and £2 for children from the parish office, on the door or by phoning 0117 986 8544.

On leading school David became organ scholar at Bath Abbey and after a period as acting assistant organist went to study as an exhibitioner at the Royal College of Music during which time he was Organ Scholar at the Temple Church and at St Paul's Cathedral.
