The winter wonderland at the Fry Club in Keynsham opens tomorrow where children can see Father Christmas in his cavern.

Deb Dyer of the Fry Club said this was not just any Christmas grotto, it is a Fry Club Christmas grotto. She said: "It is unlike anything you will have experienced at any other Christmas grotto.

"It begins in the big top room where Christmas videos are being played for all to enjoy. You are then taken upstairs where there are calendars to make and an opportunity for the children to write a letter to Santa, which they can then post in Santa's own postbox. This is followed by a puppet show and a balloon artist who can make incredible animals from balloons. While all this is happening, refreshments are available for grown-ups and children alike. Finally we find ourselves in Santa's Magic Cavern where the child meets Santa and receives a gift."

Families do need to allow plenty of time for their children to enjoy the experience.

The winter wonderland is open on December 6, 13 and 20 from 10am to 3pm. Entrance costs £7 for children and £1 for parents.
