FEAR FOR ABBOTS WOODFUTURE

I  have a real fear for the future of this wood,much used by many local residents,and worked on by many people to keep it up together.My fear is the plans being circulated, that a road through for traffic,not just pedestrian,cyclists, from Charlton Rd, will be the answer to the vexed access issue at K2B site.

  As a resident who lives with access to the wood on our door step,I strongly feel this move needs opposing.I will gladly lead others who feel the same way if it ever comes to plan,be it by some back door method or whatever.The plans for this sode of the K2 site still have to be placed on the table,and to date the Woodland Trust in comments on the Pasrk Rd site have resisted  moves for such a road ,I do just worry what incentive would make them change their minds.

  Whilst some may accuse me of scare mongering, this proposal was written on a local political party leaflet earlier this year,who referred to working on resolving to find an alternative way in/out of the Park Rd K2 site.

 I would love to think I am wrong, but clearly a case I feel for watch this space,many nearby residents have expressed similar fears,so i appreciate I am probably not alone,we just need to be on our guard,in case like K2B, various plans are put forward so close to christmas in the hope no one will realise it
