Manager Paul Beacham is determined to keep his feet firmly grounded, despite increasing excitement over Stockwood Green Robinsons' promotion position.
Stockwood thumped Street 5-0 at the weekend to open up a three-point lead in the First Division, and they go to Burnham tomorrow eager to extend that advantage.
Ben Cook hit a hat-trick last Saturday, and Beacham said: "He's got 15 for the season and Jason Smith and Chris Saunders have scored 17 and 12 league goals respectively, so we have players on top of their games. It's a battle trying to suppress expectations with 11 games left."
Ryan Perry stays in goal for Fry Club as they bid to keep their promotion hopes alive at home to Radstock tomorrow and at Portishead on Tuesday.
With Liam Osborne absent, defender Joe Garland makes a timely return from a ban.
Terry Saunders says his Keynsham Town Reserves side will redouble their efforts to get out of the bottom three – starting against local rivals Saltford at Crown Fields tomorrow.
Youngsters Josh Bruton and Danny Jones could win call-ups for Keynsham, while Saltford will miss skipper Matt Tinsley (knee) and the banned Scott Young.
New Cleeve West Town manager Simon Tarr aims to capitalise on a 4-2 winning start at Radstock Reserves when they visit Street.
He said: "We're looking to make a proper promotion push next year and we'd welcome offers from anyone keen to help us achieve it."
Striker Lee Perks is sidelined with a hamstring problem but Brislington can recall midfielders Brad Haynes and Clarke Taylor after injury for their trip to Bishops Lydeard.
Lowly Cutters Friday entertain leaders Watchet, while in-form Nailsea United have full-back Ben Cook back from a ban for Monday's trip to Paulton.
