K2 PROTEST MEETING

I would encourage all with a concern for the future trfaffic palns etc for this site to attend the public meeting at Castle School on Tuesday evening.There has been sadly it would seem, various decisons relating to reducing access to the site by one route only-via Park rd,the sheer volume of builders wagons,tradesmens vehiclesetc parked in side roads for a long time will be nightmare.The decsion supported by council highways dept it sems hasd received little if no mrntion outside council meeting rooms.The impact opf both sites work on the estates and in particular PARK ROAD,AND MANY OTHERS TOO IS SCAREY .The meeting called to draw all concerned rsidents in one voice is a great idea.I find it difficult to believe that this has happened, who knows what other can of worms will emerge as plans proceed.Many people will be affected, both during building and after ,Roads that struggle now with parking issues , traffic volumes.Park rd itself also has access to allotments and a  town council play area.Time to speakl out ,time to tell authorities enough is enough.
