Only one week to go until the 37th Kingswood Scouts Cadet Band opens it's doors to potential new members for the 2011/12 season.

Nick Hibbs, Joint Corps Director writes "Regular readers will know that we have had a great deal of success in 2011 ... second in the Drum Corps UK Cadet Class and a fabulous first place, for the fifth consecutive year, at the British Youth Band Association Finals.

Many of the 2010/11 group were total novices when they joined .. and have now become British champs .. how awesome is that ?

Do you know anyone who may be interested .. must be aged 8+, must be interested in music of some kind and most importantly must be interested in having a great time in a new hobby. Wannabe Drummers, Brass players and Percussionists are all very welcome".
