As a local photographer of landscapes and architecture, I would like to bring to the attention of residents and workers (Cadbury's especially) in Keynsham an area of my work which maybe of interest.

A couple of years ago, I captured a number of images of the Cadbury's Somerdale factory, Keynsham at sunrise, one of which has recently generated some interest having been shortlisted for the Urbis Open Arts Prize. It is subsequently being exhibited at the Grant Bradley Gallery, Bristol for a month.

Since the theme of the exhibition is 'Capturing the Spirit of the West Country', I thought it fitting to enter this image of the factory given its significance as a threatened site which has employed generations of local people and where the resilience of the community is now called upon during this time of its impending closure.

'Keynsham Sunrise' is featured in a short series of images of the factory in a section of my website http://tinyurl.com/248fnze and a print of the photograph can be viewed at the Grant Bradley Gallery http://tinyurl.com/24b486h Bedminster, Bristol until 3rd July.

I would be glad to hear from anyone on the subject and would particularly like to know of any organisations to whom this would be of special interest.
