Has anyone here anything else about the houses they're hoping to build on the green belt round Keynsham?

It keeps cropping up from time to time, but I don't think there's anything definite yet. It's still at the talking shop stage as far as I know, but they reckon they need to build thousands of homes around the area south of Bristol.

You're right, Roscoe09, it's bound to. Think what the Hicks gate roundabout going to be like then. I'm not even sure why they need to build all these houses anyway. And I thought that the whole idea about green belt is that it's supposed to be protected? Now suddenly it's fine to build on it? Don't get it!

Thanks Nicolanne, that was an interesting article - what a ridiculous choice of site! The level of extra traffic that the development would generate would be mad. Surely this won't get the go-ahead???
