Could a Wilkinsons store in Keynsham be 'on the cards'?

I received an email from a Keynsham resident saying a member of staff in a branch of Wilkinsons had said a Keynsham store was "on the cards".

There's no official word on it from Wilkinsons, but if I hear anything I will post it on here.

This may go the same way as the Poundland proposals, but it could be a good and useful addition to the High Street now that the Handyman store has gone.

It's hard to think of anything that Wilkinsons doesn't sell!

Just what a market town needs. When are the town council going to start thinking about making this place look a bit more upmarket and stop trying to make it into another Kingswood?

Won't the revamped Town Hall play its part in making Keynsham look more upmarket in the future?

The council doesn't decide who comes to the town. They can only make it difficult for any business by having rates that are too high and charging for parking when many towns in the area don't charge.
