Hi, what exactly is the Lions? Is it a charity? I remember reading about various fundraising events for good causes but don't know any more than that.

I think the Lions undertake projects and fundraising activities to support many different good causes but I don't think it's a charity in itself. I think it's quite an old organisation, actually.
