Gain free work skills in Keynsham
A new learning for work project is launching at Community@67, the community centre based at 67 Queen's Road, Keynsham.
People aged 26-50 can attend weekly sessions covering skills such as transferable skills, job search techniques and practical skills for interviews.
The project will also help to arrange work placements to gain practical experience with local businesses and organisations such as B&NES Council.
To find out more, to meet the friendly staff and sample some coffee and cake, attend one of the drop in sessions on Monday 24 September or 1st or 8th October. 915-1215 or call the tutors on 0787 9966 515.
Workshops will run on Monday mornings at Community@67 from October-March or our tutors can build a programme to suit you.
The programme is funded by The SouthWest Foundation and complements the mentoring programme run in conjunction with Keynsham Youth Service and aimed at one-to-one mentoring to make a difference to young people aged 18-25.
