Keynsham people are being offered the chance to view the regeneration site from high up in the Riverside building
Bath & North East Somerset Council and contractors Willmott Dixon are inviting people on a first come, first served basis to a series of 'Open Office' events to hear more about the construction project for Keynsham's £34 million town centre regeneration.
The first event is on Friday, April 5 on Floor Three of the Riverside Building where people can get a view of history in the making as the construction site takes place in front of their eyes.
Those who attend will also get the opportunity to ask the construction team questions about the project and take photographs from the windows some 100 feet from ground level.
It will last about an hour and numbers are limited to 30. People can book their place via keynsham.site@willmottdixon.co.uk or call 0117 986 8941.
It is planned that similar events will be held every three months.
The scheme includes new space for shops and restaurants, a new library and One Stop Shop for local public sector services, new streets and spaces for markets and events, and low carbon sustainable council offices.
The council says that the improved town centre will encourage private sector investment into Keynsham resulting in new jobs, new homes and opportunities for local people.
