What was Keynsham Gifts and Jewellery on Bath Hill is currently vacant
Longwell Green-based Harvem is celebrating six years of trading with the opening of the firm's first shop.
It will also offer customers in-house printing of T-shirts, hoodies, sportswear, casualwear and workwear as well as selling office supplies.
Managing director Clinton Hiscox said he had chosen to open in Keynsham after identifying a gap in the market in the town centre.
He hopes to be open by mid-March.
Elsewhere in Keynsham there are several empty units available to let - the old First Choice travel agents next to Greggs in High Street, Keynsham Gifts and Jewellery, at the top of Bath Hill, and former ladies' fashion shop Mickey's, in Temple Street.
But a sign in what was Johnsons, the dry cleaners in Temple Street, which closed last summer, says that a male grooming salon will open in March, offering barbering, massage, facials, handcare and footcare and sports advice, as well as a sunbed and spray tan.
