Cars parked illegally around Keynsham Rugby Club will be given parking tickets and some could even be towed away.
Avon and Somerset Police is taking a stricter approach to parking around Bristol Road/Stockwood Vale following a number of complaints, and now anyone parked in a cycle lane could see their car removed.
Inspector Tim Stuckes said: "This will be an ongoing campaign in order to change peoples attitude to parking in this area. We have received numerous complaints and the time has come for action"
The club has said that if the weather is bad, parking will not be allowed on the grass. It hopes that cars will park more closely together to get more vehicles onto the site.

Round the rugby club isn't the only place that could benefit from more considerate parking! It's amazing how much of it you see on the streets as well. People pull up and park right in the middle of a space that could have fitted two cars in easily if they'd only pulled forward a bit.
