Overnight road closure in Keynsham this week

Bath Road in Keynsham is closed to traffic tonight and for the next two nights between Chandag Road and the A4 roundabout for resurfacing work.

There are diversion signs for motorists to follow during the 7pm-7am closure, and First bus services 338 and 339 are diverting via the Keynsham bypass, Bristol Road and High Street in both directions.

A spokesman for First said: "Initially the works are anicipated to be in place for three nights but Bath and North East Somerset Council has added that if things don't go as to plan, there is a possibility that additional closures may be required on Thursday and Friday night.

"Should that be the case we will update our @FirstBSA Twitter feed."
