Thought your 'readers' might like to know that the Virtual Museum of Bath is currently looking at the issue of a museum for Keynsham and the significant Romano-British finds that are indicated below new playing fields planned for the redevelopment of the old Somerdale factory site.

Should they be excavated and contribute towards a new identity for the town? Should Keynsham have a museum to display its historic past? Two of your B&NES councillors have already commented. That's the www.virtualmuseumofbath.com. It is a daily on-line look at the area's history and heritage. I am its Director and- with years of experience in television and radio - l do know the area! Regards. Richard Wyatt
