A Keynsham woman has been charged with cannabis production alongside a Metropolitan Police officer.
PC David Price, 29, and his partner, Emily Baylis, 26, were arrested in August last year after a national newspaper obtained video of him with what appeared to be about 30 marijuana plants being cultivated under lights in a loft.
The Daily Mirror said it was given the footage by a reader and passed it on to the Met’s anti-corruption unit.
According to the Met Police, Price was suspended from duty on August 19 2011.
Price, a father-of-four who helped tackle the London street riots, worked in central London but lives with Baylis in Charlton Road, Keynsham, where the offence is alleged to have taken place.
The couple are accused of growing the class B drug on or before August 16 2011 and will appear at Bath Magistrates' Court on March 23.
Pagen Taylor, aged 24 and of Coronation Avenue, Keynsham, has also been charged with possession of cannabis.
She will appear at Bath Magistrates' Court on March 19.
