Keynsham-based estate and lettings agency Andrews has donated £15,734 to the Estate Agency Foundation, a charity dedicated to combating the causes of homelessness.
Andrews, which has more than 80 branches across South West and South East England, has its headquarters at The Clockhouse on Bath Hill.
It raised the money through a series of events in December, and it represents more than 10 per cent of the Foundation's £150,000 target for 2012.
Fundraising activities included coffee mornings, Christmas events and curry nights as well as a 24-hour spin challenge and a sponsored static bike ride.
Earlier in the year, staff were involved in charity golf and football tournaments.
The Estate Agency Foundation was set up in 2008, with several Andrews & Partners directors as founder members. The Foundation supports charities including Shelter, St Mungo's and Broadway.
Nick Wright, financial director at Andrews & Partners, as well as a trustee and treasurer of the Foundation, said: "It was wonderful to see our staff making such an effort to raise money, and we also need to thank customers and locals who got involved.
"As estate agents it is appropriate that we play a part in combating the causes of homelessness, as well as helping people who don't have a home."
Andrews & Partners raised £12,086 for the Estate Agency Foundation in 2011 and £7,500 in 2010.
