Keynsham Recycling Centre changes its opening hours

B&NES council will be changing the opening hours of Keynsham Recycling Centre at the end of this month.
Weekday openings will stay the same - from 8am to 4.15pm.
However, as of March 31, weekend opening hours will be 9am to 3.45pm, and 8am to 3.45pm on Bank Holidays.
From November, the recycling centre will shut at 1pm.

Councillor David Dixon (Lib-Dem, Oldfield), Council Cabinet Member for Neighbourhoods, said, "It is really important that Bath & North East Somerset Council provides value for money for local people, which includes ensuring our facilities are open at the right times and when they are most likely to be used.
"The changes have been made following a careful study of when the centres are most used by residents. Our Recycling Centres are very popular with local people and because of the Council's responsible financial management we do not have to significantly reduce opening hours to balance our budgets."
