Keynsham People's guide to the best local Bonfire Night celebrations

Keynsham Rugby Club is again gearing up to stage one of the biggest fireworks displays in the area to celebrate Bonfire Night.

There are big fireworks displays in Keynsham, Bath and Downend
Thousands of spectators are expected at the Crown Field ground on Bristol Road for the annual display on Monday, November 5 and there will also be a funfair.
Gates open at 6pm and the display is due to get under way at 7pm. Tickets will be available on the gate.
The organisers say that due to increased costs they are having to charge more for entrance this year after holding the price for the past four years. The revised prices have yet to be announced - we'll update this story when we hear.
Meanwhile the big Bath fireworks display is on Saturday, November 3. Up to 9,000 people are expected to watch the display on the Rec that it is being jointly organised by the Rotary Club of Bath and the University of Bath Students' Union RAG (Raise and Give) and sponsored by Bath Building Society.

Another popular fireworks display that draws people from miles around is the Downend event organised every year by the Great Western Round Table. Macmillan Cancer Support will be the charity to benefit from this year's display
It takes place on Friday, November 2 at 7.30pm at the King George V Playing Fields in Sutherland Avenue. There will be a separate, less noisy children's display at 6.30pm and the BBC's Children in Need's Pudsey Bear will be there Buy tickets online.
The 1st Keynsham Scout Group will be helping with marshalling on the night and litter picking after the event.

Keynsham Rugby Club says admission prices to the fireworks display at the Crown Field Ground on November 5 are £7 per adult, £4 per child, or £20 for a family of two adults and two children.
