Work is progressing quickly on the new Costa coffee shop in Keynsham High Street, with the sign now up.

The Costa sign is now up in Keynsham High Street
The builders moved in last month shortly after Stuart & Lynn Montgomery, of South West Coffee Ltd, won permission to turn the old Clinton Cards unit into a coffee shop.
The Montgomerys already run Costa stores in Bristol - in Whiteladies Road, Gloucester Road, Westbury-on-Trym and Henleaze, also have one at Portishead and another one due to open soon at Burnham-on-Sea.
After submitting their plans for the prime unit in Keynsham High Street to Bath & North East Somerset Council the Montgomerys said they had been trying to secure a shop in Keynsham for more than four years and aimed to become an "active and generous member of the Keynsham community".

It always seems to be busy when I walk past and when gone in (twice) there has been a queue. Having said that the other coffee shops don't appear to be any quieter.

ReportWith so many ther coffee outlets in the town this must rate as one of the dumbest business decisions of all time. Who's going to pay Costa's inflated prices when there are outlets offering equally good coffee at budget prices?
