Celebrating harvest time in and around Keynsham

Harvest festivals are taking place at three churches in the Keynsham area this weekend.

Harvest time is being celebrated in the Keynsham area
There is a 9.30am harvest service at St Francis in Warwick Road, Keynsham, tomorrow and Keynsham Baptist Church's harvest thanksgiving is at 10.30am.
Also tomorrow, St Michael's at Burnett is holding its service in Elm Farm Barn at 11.15am.
Then next Friday (September 28) there will be a harvest supper at Chewton Keynsham Church at 7.15pm, with musical entertainment, games and puzzles.
A three-course supper will be served and people are invited to bring their own drink. The cost is £15 per person - call 986 3530 for tickets.
Keynsham Methodist Church's Queens Road Centre has an all-age harvest service at 10am on Sunday, September 30.
And St Mary's Church at Bitton holds its harvest family service at 10.30am on Sunday, October 21, followed by lunch, with Harvest Evensong at 6.30pm led by the Ammonites Choir.
On the night before, the 20th, St Mary's 'Harvest Home' supper will take place at Manor Farm at Upton Cheyney at 7pm. For tickets call 932 6951.
Local schools are also holding harvest festivals. Castle Primary School in Newlands Road will hold its festival on Friday, September 28 while Chandag Junior School's is on Friday, October 5.
