Attempted robbery of 62-year-old woman in Keynsham

Two people tried to rob a 62-year-old woman in Keynsham.

The incident happened at 6.30pm on Monday in a lane between Dapps Hill and St Clement's Road. The woman was not hurt and nothing was stolen.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw two people running away in the direction of the River Chew around that time.

One of the attempted robbers was slim and between 5ft 8in and 5ft 10in while the other was said to be about 6ft tall.

Both were wearing dark clothing but it is not known whether they were male or female.
